The Author

Michael BubanMy name is Michael Buban and I work as a versatile assistant and teacher at the School of Missions and Theology. I have a beautiful wife, two boys and a wonderful life. I am a Christian. I believe that when the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, he has won over the evil in you and me and in this world.

My lifelong project is to read the Bible and to think about faith as hard as possible. Selah Diet is this project's log. It was named after the word sęlâ, which in ancient Israel had a liturgical function. It means something like “stop, listen and take it seriously” (see an explanation). Now the “diet” word still needs to be explained, but I need to make some graphics first, so you need to be patient.

I urge you to pour out your burdened hearts to my e-mail address michael (a) or in the comments under individual posts.
